9-Ja-ri-dom bang-bang
The idea for this work came from a “teu,” a traditional style of dugout canoe that is surrounded by a large cupped net, which is used by Jeju fishermen to catch damselfish and other fish. Here, the cupped net has been transformed into a trampoline, the movement of which playfully visualizes the rocking of the canoe or the fish caught in the net.
