In order to survive within their barren natural environment, the people of Jeju had to work together in tight-knit communities. Embodying this spirit of cooperation, Soo Hong created this structure of parts that rely on one another for mutual support. The yellow glow from the LED lights permeates the space, further representing the communal spirit of the Jeju people.
