3-Colorful Columns of Heavy Sky
To represent the lives and movements of the “haenyeo” (female divers), Kwanghoo Han designed this work into several firm vertical pillars. The pillars represent the divers’ strength and resilience to both underwater pressure and the pressure of daily life. In this work, however, the worlds above and below the water are reversed.
