14-Sit-A-Round
This resting space is based on a “bulteok” (fire pit), a space inside a curved wall where the “haenyeo” (female divers) of Jeju convene to warm up by the fire, change out of or into their diving suit, or simply chat and exchange tips. With basalt stones stacked according to the principles of structural design, the work provides an artistic space for resting and talking.
