Jeju people with traditional homes often tied their thatched roofs down with a net of straw-rope, in order to protect it from the island’s fierce winds. In honor of this tradition, Jeongseob Kim arranged a bench inside a cube of straw-rope, thus reminding us of the time and effort that Jeju people spent to preserve their life necessities.
