3-Golden Tree
Consisting of steel pipes (representing lava) inserted into panels (representing the ocean), the work is a visualization of one of Jeju’s most magnificent sights: the exposed strata of pyroclastic deposits in the coastal cliffs of Suwolbong. In the middle of the panels, there are small holes that serve as conduits connecting inside and outside, visitors and the artwork.
