Yun wanted to visualize the underground landscape of Jeju, which we know exists but cannot see. To do this, the artist installed a reproduction of a lifeguard tower in the outdoor exhibition space. Encountering this familiar object in an unfamiliar context, visitors automatically begin to think of water flowing underground and the history of the island.
