The segmented structure of columnar joints reminded Lim of the order and rule of cells, inspiring the spiral structure of this work, which resembles DNA. 360 sculptural parts represent the number of Oreum found in Jeju. As a highly complex structure formed by the repetition of simple units, the work incites new contemplations of the cycle of nature.
