12-Veiled Grains and Layers
To express the layers of time that accumulate in a forest, Hong produced organic forms from acrylic plates made from polymerized fabrics. The acrylic plates take the form of plants, trees and insects that coexist and enrich the narrative of the wild forests of Jeju. By walking through and around the artwork, people can experience new perceptions from Jeju’s natural landscape.
