11-Liquid Rock
Rather than replicating the firm physical substance of the Yongduam Rock, the work visualizes the underlying geological process as a spatial structure. Like the liquid lava, the transparent panels in the walls of the structure underwent physical changes through thermoforming. The curves of the panels cast shadows on the lawn, creating pools of light that shimmer in the breeze.
