Kim´s main approach to her art-making is to combine the ideas of modern science and mathematics with the physical properties of materials. Installed on the gray surface of a concrete wall, Kim´s Vines shows silvery modules climbing up the wall. As different forces interact with one another, the work develops itself into an organic form that obeys the law of nature like a multiplying cell.
